WAFAT gives Fresh Blood through their new single “Simulacrum”

Wafat is a Pure Death Metal band that was born in 1995 and this band was previously born with the name "Screaming Death" and for a few months the band's name changed because at that time there were many metal band names ending in the word "DEATH" and they changed their name. became "VENERAL DESEASES" with time in 96 the band changed its name again, because they found the name to be the name of a metal band that was quite famous in the USA through information from Nuclear Blast magazine, they were heartbroken because their band names were the same. And finally iyu kamai changed the name to "WAFAT" and at that time there was an event where the event invited several indie label bands and one of our bands was "WAFAT" this event was held by mas piyu "PADI" on November 11, 1996 and born officially as the anniversary of this band and the band is already 26 years old.

And the concept of this band is very consistent, for 26 years they have remained pure Death Metal genre where the band is very influenced by a band from the USA which you could say is a Legend band and surely foreign MetalHeads are already familiar with this band, namely "SUFFOCATION" and they keep digging on the album “SUFFOCATION” to this day.


Which is where the band already has 5 albums and the last one is their 5th album entitled (Feminism) and the theme of this album is very different from the previous album, they also give an impetus or a breakthrough that is very characteristic and they provide a harmonious pattern with a mix of elements. darkness which in terms of their sound sounds oldschool and is given a little modern element with a touch of guitar sound that can still be heard clearly, this band is very energetic and still provides fresh blood for extreme music listeners around the world and they have released their single entitled "Simulacrum".
