“Tigguo Cobauc” A feel of ancient magic wrapped in a modern pattern

The band was formed in December 2018 in Nottigham U.K. Having undergone several lineup changes until the first album "Trial By Combat" was recorded and they are now a power trio formed by Reno Ramos as vocalist and bass player, Luca Martello on guitar and Luis Barreto on drums and backing vocals.
They recorded their first album at NoiseBoy Studios in Salford-Manchester in March 2021 with Chris Taylor and it was released by "Xaninho Discos" in South America and "Spectral Hound Records" in the UK on February 24, 2022. They recently signed with “ Kingside Records” from Florida USA for the next two albums and also with “Tikoes Kecemploeng Prods” from Indonesia to release their debut album “Trial By Combat” in Indonesia.
The plan now is to perform as many times as they can to get a chance to share their music and gain new supporters in the UK. To achieve that they started working with UK-based “Unearthed Music” Artist management to promote them, while “Xaninho Discos” planned their first South American tour. The good news from them is that they are currently in the process of making their next album.
Forged by ancient magic deep in the sandstone depths of Nottingham, Smashing guitar riffs over primal rhythms, shades of darkness. Their music is raw and strong and delivers slow, chaotic riffs and accelerated explosive beats, which showcase the band's diverse and chaotic sound. Although the band's theme is based on thousands of years of history "Tigguo Cobauc" the ancient name of today's city of Nottingham, they didn't want to be confined to the concept so that symbiosis with the fictional thinking of their vivid imagination ensued. in the combination of past and present subjects in their lyrics.
The main influences came from the 80s/90s doom metal and 80s Black Metal scenes and some other personal musical influences brought in by the new band members, turning them into a very unique/phenomenal three piece primitive raw black mud. I think song #4 “Tigguo Cobauc” is definitely a song that will represent their concept as a band not only in terms of sound but also about what they want to share/achieve with their songs.
