Mephitic Blood was formed in Jakarta in 2000, the initial formation of Wahyu Gowa (vocals) and kaval (guitar) Allex (drums), (bass) Expired.

And Mephitic Blood had to accept a very sad tragedy with the death of one of the personnel, even as the founder of this band, Gowa (RIP). With the calamity experienced at that time, Mephitic Blood had a long hiatus and also the busyness of their respective personnel. With the passage of time, the band came back from their long slumber, right in 2017 they started to make a new material where the band's awakening gave birth to an EP album entitled "GLOBAL INFECTION MURDER" with a different formation, namely Ibenk (Guitar) and Dhila. (Drums) from the band ALMARHUM. over time the position of the drummer Dhila was replaced by Yana (drums) from the band HAMMERED and Adhi (vocals) ex DENDAM and Oghe (bass).

Mephitic Blood Has characteristics that are very thick with grindcore nuances in general, even with Growl's vocals combined with Scream, this band is still able to spell out the words from their song lyrics clearly and sound character that roars and beats snare and double pedals that will invite listeners to bang their bodies and have fun headbangers.

Mephitic Blood is influenced by Grindcore/Goregrind bands and some heavy metal bands such as Slayer, Obituary, Disastrous Murmur, Napalm Death, Terrorizer, Lock up, Misery index, Insect warfare, etc. And currently MephiticBlood is in the process of producing new material for a mini album which contains 7 tracks and they have 2 songs that represent their musical brilliance, namely "Domination Licker" and "Propaganda" their lyrics are still struggling with social criticism and the injustice of the regime which always makes it miserable. the underclass and the endless war. The process of recording and mixing and the Records label is currently being kept a secret.
