Awicha is a one-man Black Metal band formed in 2008 by Emperor Rex Viperon, guitarist of Dei Tetra. The band is based in Thailand, and is currently working on a second full-length album. After the band was formed, Emperor Rex Viperon began recording a number of songs, and in 2009, Awicha released the first demo “Wicha Marn”. The band has released multiple splits, collaborations, and their first studio album in 2020, titled “Cleanse Your Sins with Blood” since then.

Fast, Aggressive and Harmonious Thai band "Awicha" has presented a very delicious meal through the album "Cleanse Your Sins with Blood" where Awicha has taken us to a very dark atmosphere but looks beautiful in every corner. The songs presented by this band are very harmonious, fast and aggressive guitar parts with dashing and synth orchestra with a fast beat with dark nuances and the band has a strong influence from the Swedish Black Metal band with cold and haunting vocals, and in some newer songs , you can hear that the vocals are layered between hoarse and growling in the lower notes, the band is influenced by familiar bands abroad, namely Dark Funeral, Behemoth, Marduk, Gorgoroth, and Slayer.

Songs that you should not miss from Awicha are: Cleanse Your Sins with Blood, Mistress of Darkness, Death by the Rivers of Blood. And some newer ones like Rise Now! and Sleep Now Frozen One. Awicha has split an album with a band from Indonesia, THORYVODIS, which has been released with an Indonesian label from Cirebon, Tikoes Kecemploeng Prods and released on cassette by Yock Records.
