Belatung Melarat is a band that was founded at the end of 2011 and carries the Myistic Javanesse Black Metal genre, the meaning of their band name is Belatung which means a small caterpillar which is strong when they are compact and united, Melarat is taken from their background which is far from luxurious, Their formation often changes, and finally they found the perfect composition, namely: Zuliant Cempe (Growl Vocals), Berok (Scream Vocals), Pyoox (Rythem Guitar), Didin (Lead Guitar), Kamail (Bass), Kriwil (Drums). ) and in 2013 they released their first single entitled “Permbahan Nyai Ratu Putih”.

But in early 2014 the band had to undergo a formation change in which their vocalist resigned. Their goal is to carry this type of genre because they want to civilize and make Java a tradition so that it does not become extinct and is eaten by the times and can preserve it through the art of music.

They were influenced by foreign metal bands, namely SANTET (Purwokerto), MAKAM (Surakarta), SENGKOLO GENI (Surabaya), MORI (Stem), MENDIANG ROMO (Tuban). This band is very unique with the nuances that they formed themselves and finally they found a very strong and extraordinary characteristic.

Rawuhing panguoso Jagat Alusan is one of the songs that represents their ferocity and form to preserve the culture of the land of Java, with a unique and fitting composition they are very brave to present their work for the entire Indonesian nation and even abroad.
