Azaab is a Death Metal band from Islamabad (Pakistan), this band was formed in 2016 which is their love of old School and modern Death Metal music. The current members are Shahab Khan (Guitarist), Waqar Gayas (Bassist), Afraz Mamoon (Guitarist), Saad Latif (Vocalist). They have known each other for many years and often work on a project together. As time went by after they (Shahab & Afraz) collected material for the making of an album, they decided to recruit a drummer from Indonesia, Adhytia Perkasa who was the drummer for the legendary band "Siksa Kubur", Adhytia Perkasa will fill the drums for their album and The band is also influenced by metal bands who are no longer isolated from the world of Extreme music, namely Morbid Angel, Vader, Death, Decapitated, Nile, Abysmal Dawn, and Cannibal Corpse.
which is where this band has a characteristic in terms of their sound and musicality, a sound with a mix of oldschool and modern nuances. There are several genres that they combine on their album entitled "Summoning The Cataclysm" namely oldschool, technical, melodic, and Brutal, all of which they pack into one and this is what makes their album material look very unique. The lyrics of this album are also taken from topics, Horror, Politics, Human Nature, End Times, War and Even Sci-fi. The music depicts an ominous and vicious atmosphere, using harmonic and dissonant progressions to explosive beats, as well as key changes and even some more traditional melodies. Adhytias' percussion adds the perfect backdrop for catchy guitar work while Saad's deep growls are reminiscent of the days of brutal death metal classics.
